Product Details

Dinotefuran is a systemic insecticide that belongs to the neonicotinoid class of chemicals. Its mode of action involves targeting the insect’s nervous system by binding to specific receptors called nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs). When dinotefuran is ingested by an insect, it binds to the nAChRs in the insect’s central nervous system, which leads to overstimulation of the receptors. This overstimulation causes the neurons to fire continuously, leading to paralysis and ultimately the death of the insect.

Benefits:

  1. It Quick knockdown action
  2. Highly systemic: readily absorbed and translocated into plants.
  3. Exhibit excellent translaminar action.
  4. Rain fastness: works very well even after rainfall at 3 hours after application.
  5. Longer duration of control: Protects crop from insects for a longer period.
  6. Broad spectrum: Dinotefuran is registered in more than 58 crops globally.
  7. D Furon acts on the nervous system through contact and ingestion, resulting in the cessation of feeding within a few hours and death shortly after due to paralysis. It acts as an agonist of insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.

Usage and crops:

  1. Crops: Cotton, Paddy
  2. Target pest: White fly, Aphid, Thrips, BPH
